Rivers State Representative in the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Tony Okocha has advised youths of the state between the ages of 18~45 to register with the 10,000 Youth internship program flagged off by the commission.
Okocha, in a statement called on youths within the age bracket to avail themselves of this rare opportunity of gaining employment/skills as instituted by President Bola Ahmed.
The statement read,
I, Chief Tony C Okocha, ksc, DSSRS, JP,
Rivers State Representative in the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, happily encourage the Youths of Rivers State between the Ages of 18~45, to register with the 10, 000 Youth internship program flagged off by the NDDC .
A portal with address, www,nyisnddc.gov.ng is opened and operates 24/7 hours. It will expire on the 31st of August 2024.
Other facts to note are;
1)Requirements for online registration include
A)NIN
B) LGA identification
C) proper identification in the form of Drivers license, international passport or voter’s card.
Each applicant/beneficiary will select their preferred location/area of interest for the internship.
A monitoring and evaluation and learning framework will be instituted to measure success.
I therefore, enjoin the Youths of Rivers State within the age bracket, to avail themselves of this rare opportunity of gaining employment/skills as lavishly instituted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
