Deputy Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Rivers State, Tonto Dikeh has revealed plans by her foundation to train about 300 youths on various skills.
Tonto Dikeh said this in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
She said after the training, successful participants will be empowered, and that the training will last for three weeks.
According to her, if youths have jobs, it would be difficult for politicians to buy them with money during elections.
She stated that youth empowerment is one of the key ways to curb crime and criminality in the society.
