The tenure of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun has been extended by three years by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
According to PoliticsNigeria the disclosure was made by sources at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the IGP’s tenure was extended despite his impending retirement age of 60, which he will reach tomorrow, September 4, 2024.
