President Bola Tinubu has approved the release of N32.7 billion for the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), aimed at providing support to the nation’s most vulnerable populations.
The approval was disclosed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Prof. Nentawe Yilwata, during the launch of the State Action Plan for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Makurdi on Friday.
According to Yilwata, the NSIP aligns with the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes social welfare initiatives to empower women, youth, and other vulnerable groups across the country.
