The Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Ambassador Chijioke Ihunwo, has inaugurated a Point of Sale (POS) Committee to streamline and regulate POS operations across the council. The committee will oversee activities, enforce operational standards, and ensure the proper collection of operational permits from all POS outlets and stands within the area.

The 11-member committee comprises the following individuals:

1. Obinna Wopara (Chairman)

2. Daddy Chuku Wilconson (Vice Chairman)

3. ThankGod Chigeru (Secretary)

4. Chijioke Chinwo (Member)

5. Chigozirim Fortune Chukwu (Member)

6. Bekwele Larry Nyeche (Member)

7. Mrs. Helen Akaninwo (Member)

8. Maureen Samuel (Member)

9. ThankGod Bobo Anya (Member)

10. Dike Renner Chibuzor (Member)

11. Chiweikpe Ihunwo (Member)

Ambassador Ihunwo, while congratulating the committee members, urged them to execute their duties with diligence and integrity. He highlighted the importance of enhancing accountability and maintaining orderliness in POS operations for the benefit of the local government area.
