President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the request for the establishment of the Ibom Deep Sea Port in Akwa Ibom State.
The President announced the approval during his official working visit and grand reception rally in Uyo, the state capital.
Tinubu, who spoke on behalf of the Federal Government, said: “On behalf of the people and leadership of Akwa Ibom, the request for the Ibom Deep Sea Port is approved.”
The approval is expected to advance the proposed deep seaport project, which is considered a major infrastructure investment for Akwa Ibom State.
