The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, says there is circulation of fake COVID-19 vaccines in the country.
Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof Mojishgola Adeyeye, disclosed this in a statement over the weekend.
She warned Nigerians to watch out and expose anyone who might want to divert the vaccines.
She also advised residents to be careful and desist from ordering the vaccine online to avoid falling into the hands of those bent on destroying the lives of Nigerians.
“The public must be on the lookout for these spurious and counterfeit vaccines and other regulated products” she said.
