Mrs Ngozi Oluchukwu, Wife of the Police Sergeant, who survived the attack on Elimgbu Police station, in Obio/Akpor LGA, and currently on admission at the Rivers State Teaching Hospital, says she is dissappointed at the Police hierarchy in the State.
Ngozi, in a chat with journalists few days ago, said more than one week after the incident, the state Police command is yet to visit her husband in the hospital.
She accused the Command of abandoning one of their own, as they have not done anything to show concern for her wounded husband.
“The worst part is that both the former and present Divisional Police Officer (DPO), none of them have shown concern to even come and check to see how he is doing in the hospital. Nobody to assist,” she said.
“Things are very difficult without me and my children because my husband was everything. It is now I know that when your partner is not around then you will know something has really happened to you,” she added.
She also stated that money is the problem now, as they need to at least support him to come back to his feet.
