The Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT in Rivers State says it has been directed by its National leadership to join the ongoing strike action.
Chairman of NUT in the state, Collins Echikpu disclosed this in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt Today.
According to him, the state chapter will obey the directive and join the strike which is in the interest of Nigerian workers.
Recall that the organized labour started a nationwide strike action on Tuesday over the alleged assault of the NLC President – Joe Ajaero in Imo State few days ago amongst others.
