Chief Innocent Ekwereogwu, the paramount ruler of Anwunugbokor community in Ahaoda West Local Government Area of Rivers State has been shot dead by suspected cultists.
He was reportedly killed in his house at Odiemerenyi community in Ahaoda East LGA on Tuesday morning.
Chief Innocent Ekwereogwu, until his death was the chairman of the Ubie Council of Chiefs.
The Police was yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing this report.
