The two suspected car thieves who were beaten to a pulp by a mob in Port Harcourt this morning are currently in coma.
Spokesperson of the state Police, Grace Koko said the suspects are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
She said officers of the Elekahia Division reacted to a distress call to rescue the driver who was stabbed by the car thieves, before they were attacked by a mob.
