Port Harcourt residents have raised concerns over the rate at which the newly launched palliative buses by the Rivers State Government to cushion the effect of subsidy removal are breaking down.
Since the launch of the buses, no fewer than four have reportedly broken down at different parts of Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor local government areas of the state.
Today, one of the buses broke down at Education bus stop according to popular broadcast journalist, Barikui Felix.
“Which engineer serviced this 2011 All Africa Games buses and certified them road worthy? The rate at which they are breaking down is alarming. This one has been lying at Education Bustop for the past 1hr. In the voice of Allwell Ene I hear say small thing spoil inside,” he said.
