Some Nigerian students currently on the scholarship program of the NDDC, barricaded the premises of the Nigerian High Commission in the United Kingdom, yesterday.
The students were reacting to the failure of the NDDC to pay their tuition fees and other allowances after series of pleas.
The students carried placards with different inscriptions as they called on the NDDC to immediately come to their aid by paying their fees and other allowances.
The Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa had earlier raised an alarm over the plights of the students. She had called on the commission to, as a matter of urgency, pay the tuition fees and allowances of the students as they have resulted to begging.
