To address the insecurity challenges in the country, Governors have endorsed the creation of State Police.
Thirty-six states submitted their recommendations at the National Economic Council NEC meeting chaired by Vice President, Kashim Shettima at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa.
Addressing State House Correspondents after the meeting, in Abuja, the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani explained that only the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) is yet to submit its recommendations while affirming that the majority of the governors have approved the creation of state police.
