Governor, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State says stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State, will decide his successor and not him.
Wike stated this during the final campaign rally of the People’s Democratic Party, for the forthcoming local government poll, in Khana LGA on Saturday.
He said no one person has the power to zone the Governorship position of the party to any area.
Wike said the Governoship position of the state, is not the property of anyone, as nobody can decide who becomes Governor or not.
“I don’t want to talk about politics of who is from here and who is not from there. At the appropriate time the PDP family will sit down, the leaders of the party will sit down and look at everything together and then take a decision, not one man and even me as a Governor can say this is where we are zoning it to,” he said.
