The Rivers State Police Command, says it is investigating the stabbing of a 12-year-old girl identified as Miss Oluebube by a woman at Chukwu street off Rumuodara in Obio/Akpor LGA on Friday.
Spokesperson of the command, Grace Koko disclosed this in a statement yesterday.
A Human Rights Group, Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign had raised an alarm over the issue and called for the arrest of the woman. She was later arrested by the Police.
National Coordinator of the group, Prince Wiro described the action of the woman as wicked, barbaric and inhumane.
