Two middle-aged men, Elisha Roberts and Orong Phillips have been sentenced to death by hanging by a Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt for kidnapping and killing a prominent businessman in 2008.
The trial judge, Justice Danagogo, found the duo guilty of the crime and sentenced them to death, while Ishmael Ogwujan was discharged.
Ogwujan was discharged and acquitted for lack of evidence linking him to the crime.
