Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has urged Nigerians to pray for President Bola Tinubu, saying the country is in serious trouble amid questions surrounding the President’s health.
Sowore in a statement on Wednesday said like Ex President Musa Yar’Adua who initially sought medical treatment in Germany Tinubu has made repeated, trips to France and is now heading to Saudi Arabia.
“Like Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, who initially sought medical treatment in Germany before eventually travelling to Saudi Arabia, Tinubu has made repeated trips to France and is now heading to Saudi Arabia,” he said.
He also said Nigeria was in serious trouble, alleging that following the Kaduna rally, there were indications that Tinubu was being prepared for another foreign trip on Thursday, October 29, 2026, amid growing questions about his health.
The comments came shortly after the Presidency announced that Tinubu would depart Abuja for Makkah, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday to perform Umrah and pray for Nigeria’s peace, unity, stability and progress.
