Our attention has been drawn to the well choreographed misinformation and disinformation spreading on social media and even quite surprisingly, the mainstream media over the above subject matter.
Nothing can be farther from the truth as democractic ethos negates application of gestapo styled takeovers and or appointments.
The Constitution of the APC 2022 (as amended) is an instrument powerful enough to deal with all internal party matters not the least those canvassed by the signatories to the strange communique which to the best of our knowledge, NEVER passed the test of Article 21.3(i)-(vi) of our party’s Constitution.
Therefore, we want to state without equivocation that we view what is being circulated and sensationalized as handiwork of enemies of our party and an article for comic relief as it does not fall within the intendment of Article 21 of our Constitution.
For the avoidance of doubt, at no time did the Zonal Executives meet to resolve or decide to suspend any officer of the Zonal Exco. Therefore, no Zonal Exco is under suspension.
