Nigerian Singer, Timi Dakolo has called on Rivers residents not to sit back and keep quiet over the soot, adding that its devastating effect will be felt in some years to come.
Dakolo, in a post on Twitter said the situation is not funny as all hands must be on deck to curb the menace.
He called on the United Nations and all relevant authorities to help bring an end to environmental pollution in the state.
His statement reads,
This is not funny!!! This is not fair. This is deep wickedness.
“The devastating effect of this soot will be felt for years to come ,so let’s not sit back and keep quiet.
“It is Our port harcourt. Dear port harcourt people. Them no Dey manage bad thing.
