Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Georgewill has reacted to the altercation between Afrobeat star, Femi Kuti and a Police officer in Lagos few days ago.
Femi, had during the incident slapped the officer and later claimed that his life and that of his family were threatened by the government official.
However, Georgewill, in a statement said Seun goofed for slapping the officer, no matter the provocation adding that Police offcers have provoked him enough to attempt that.
“Seun Kuti Goofed For Slapping A Policeman No Matter The Provocation. However, I Must State That The Police Have Provoked Me Enough To Attempt It,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police has ordered the arrest of Seun – who has promised to turn himself in for thorough investigation.
