The Rivers State Fire Service Department has put out the fire which gutted a tanker at the Obiri-Ikwerre Flyover in Port Harcourt this morning.

Reports say the timely intervention of the Rivers State Fire Service Department ensured no casualties were recorded.

We gathered that the scene of the incident has been taken over by security operatives who arrested a scavenger whorying to steal from the tanker.
