Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Samuel Nwanosike has threatened to sue the chairman of African Action Congress in Rivers State, over comments he made against the Rivers PDP
The state Chirman of AAC, had during a meeting of political leaders with security agencies, alleged that the PDP had connived with the state electoral umpire to write results of Saturday’s election.
Nwanosike while reacting to the claims of the AAC chairman, denied the allegations and directed him to tender an unresolved apology, or face legal actions.
He said the PDP has campaigned in all the nooks and crannies of the state, and are optimistic of winning the election.
The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission had in a statement promised not to favor any political party, while stating that the election will be free, fair and credible.
