The Rivers State Commissioner for Water Resources, Tamunosisi Gogo Jaja has ordered Ministries Departments and Agencies at the state Secretariat to fix licking pipes in their offices.
This as he questioned why water vendors should still be supplying water weeks after water was restored to the Secretariat.
Tamunosisi in a chat with journalists on Tuesday, said by the end of the month, security personnel will be ordered not to allow water vendors supply water to the Secretariat anymore.
He said after water was restored all MDAs were ordered to repair their facilities as they found out that so many of had been vandalized.
He said those yet to repair their pipes are the ones still buying water from vendors.
