The Rivers State University (RSU) has announced the commencement of academic activities at the university’s three new satellite campuses in Etche Ahoada and Emohua
Prof. Nlerum Okogbule, Vice Chancellor of the institution disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
According to him, lectures will begin for year 1 students while the others would move to the campuses on a gradual basis.
“We are starting with Year One students on these campuses. The other levels would move to the campuses on a gradual basis beginning from next year,” he said.
He also said the satellite campuses would boost social and economic activities and improve development of host communities.
