The Rivers State Tourism Development Agency, rstda, is set to launch an online registration portal for up and coming comedians in Rivers State.
The Agency in a statemeny on its Instagram Page today, said the move is to rejig the comedy industry and to make the state the comedic hub it was once.
It note that the portal will be announced soon.
rstda, disclosed that the objective is to raise a crop of talented comedians from the state that can sustain a thriving comedy industry.
It also said the move is to curate comedy challenge as an ongoing bi-monthly programme that will see the emergence of new comedy talents in the state that will be selected to perform alongside veteran comedians.
