The Rivers State Police Command has said that it will arrest members of OSPAC in Igbo-Etche, involved in the maltreatment and torture of a Pastor allegedly accused of defiling his three daughters in the area.
Spokesperson of the state command, SP. Nnamdi Omoni who disclosed this in a statement over the weekend said the security personnel compounded the situation by taking laws in their hands.
A pastor of one of the new generation churches was arrested and stripped naked by the local vigilante group, after his son had reported to them that he caught his father defiling his sisters.
The pastor who confessed to the crime after series of torture, said his mother bewitched him into the act after he disobeyed her and went ahead to marry his wife, against her wish.
“It is because of a witchcraft force. My mother told me not to marry this woman, but I continued to marry her. So, my mother did that to punish me and bring shame on me” he said.
