Some Rivers residents have commended the state Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday for rewarding a female Police officer, identified as Esther Gilipin.
This was after she was filmed controlling traffic in the rain at the Woji axis of Port Harcourt.
CP. Eboka, today, presented an award of excellence to the officer at the Police headquarters in Port Harcourt, for her commitment and dedication to duty.
He commended the officer and urged other officers to emulate her.
Some equipment and cash were also presented to the officer to encourage her to do more.
