The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a fifty-five-year-old pastor identified as Pillar for allegedly defiling and impregnating a fifteen-year-old girl in Ndele, Emohua LGA of Rivers State.
Spokesperson of the Command, Grace Koko confirmed the arrest in a statement Today.
According to NigrInfo, Operatives from the Rumuji Police Division arrested the cleric following a complaint by Amesi ThankGod, an in-law to the fifteen-year-old girl, who narrated how the pastor pleaded that the pregnancy be terminated. ThankGod in an interview narrated how the pastor pleaded that the pregnancy be terminated.
It was gathered that Pastor Pillar was rescued from being mobbed by members of the local vigilante group in the community.
