The Rivers State Police Command said it has commenced investigation into the stampede that claimed three lives at the East-West road axis of Obio/Akpor LGA in Rivers State.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni who disclosed this in a statement yesterday said the Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan has ordered full investigation into the matter.

Three persons reportedly died yesterday when they went to collect palliatives from a non-governmental organization known as “INKSNATION.”

According to its founders ,INKSNATION is a Nigerian Blockchain Poverty Eradication company that has sworn to pay every registered member in Nigeria a minimum of ₦120,000, monthly.

The company generates its income from cryptocurrency which realises millions for the company.
