The Rivers State Independent Electoral commission (RSIEC), is seeking partnership with the media in the state ahead of the forthcoming Local Government Election slated for next year.
Chairman of the commission, Rtd Justice George Omereji disclosed this in a meeting with the state chapter of NUJ in Port Harcourt yesterday.
He urged the media to sensitise electorates on electoral rules while urging them to avoid publications capable of causing tension and hitting up the polity.
