The Rivers State House of Assembly has approved the sum of N6.5 billion loan for the state executive to be accessed from Zenith Bank Plc.
According to the letter sent by the governor which was read by the speaker of the house, the fund will be used to renovate educational facilities, improve agriculture and provide farmers with loans to improve food production and security.
The speaker of the House,Ikuinyi Ibani and 22 other members approved the loan after a seeming long debate.
