GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The Rivers State House of Assembly House Committee on Local Government Affairs wishes to inform the general public, particularly the 23 Local Government Areas that it will embark on an official assessment tour.
This tour is aimed at evaluating the developmental projects and activities undertaken by the Local Government Chairmen from their time of inseption to date.
This initiative is part of the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring accountability, transparency and sustainable development across all Local Government Areas.
Stakeholders, community leaders and residents are encouraged to co-operrate fully during this exercise to facilitate a thorough and comprehensive review.
This is scheduled as follows;
