The Rivers State High Court has struck out the criminal suit by the state government against Federal lawmaker representing Etche/Omuma Constituency, Ephraim Nwuzi.
The trial judge, Okogbule Gbasam struck out the suit after the state government withdrew the case through Attorney General of the state Zaccheus Adangor.
Nwuzi, was arrested for threatening to kill electoral officers before the February 25th presidential election.
He contested the Etche/Omuma Federal seat under the platform of the APC and lost to candidate of the PDP, Kelechi Nwogu.
He announced his defection to the PDP Today.
