The Rivers State Government says, civil servants will start receiving the new approved minimum wage of N85,000 from November 2024.
The state Head of Service, George Nwaeke made this known during an event in Port Harcourt on Monday.
He said the current administration is ready to implement any policy that will benefit workers.
He added that Governor, Sim Fubara has directed that the payment be implemented this November.
