The official flag-off ceremony of the introduction of Human Papilloma virus (HPV) vaccine for young girls between the ages of 9-14 in Rivers State is currently ongoing at the conference hall of the Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board.

Attendees include the wife of the Rivers State Governor Her excellency Mrs Valerie Siminalayi Fubara ably represented by the Honorable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adaeze Oreh, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Prof. Kinikanwo Innocent Green, the Board Chairman, Dr Blessing Jaja ably represented by Dr Claribel Abam, all board members, Directors of various departments; key stakeholders; and other board staff.
