Veteran Singer, Inetimi Odion popularly known as Timaya says real talents are dying in the music industry due to lack of finance
Timaya in a post on Facebook said no matter how good a musician is, if he/she does not have money to promote their music, they are going nowhere.
He said, “Real talents are dying. These days no matter how good you are , if you do not have money to promote your music you are going no where . When labels even sign you , they do not want you doing the real you, they are just after money . They change everything. In our time it wasn’t like that , People could support and push you without you paying but today everything is paid for . Where is an upcoming artiste supposed to take money for production , videos and promo ? It is tough . Everything you see trending on the internet today is paid for .”
