The Rivers State Government has reacted to reports of the sacking of Emily Solomon, former acting chairman of the Rivers State Secondary Schools Board.
There were reports that Solomon was on Wednesday sacked by the state government.
However, the state commissioner of education in a statement said Emily was not sacked but, redeployed to another ministry.
He urged members of the public to ignore the report as nothing of such happened.
Meanwhile, Ikechi Worgi has taken over as Acting Chairman of the Board with immediate effect.
