The Rivers State Ministry of Education says the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will begin on Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 11th July 2024.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Ebere Dorothy Dennis-Emenike, made this known in a statement on Saturday.
According to her, the state government had paid the fees for the Examination for all participating student.
She urged all public and private Schools operating in Rivers State to prepare their students for the examination.
Dorothy, warned principals or teachers to resist the temptation of demanding for any form of payment from any student because such extortion will be dealt with accordingly.
