The Rivers State Police Command says it has deployed over one thousand Police officers to Edo state to help maintain law and order during the state governorship election slated for Saturday September 19, 2020.
The Command’s Spokesperson, Nnamdi Omoni made this known in a chat with Journalists today in Port Harcourt.
Omoni said the move is to complement the efforts of the Edo State Police command in ensuring law and order during the Saturday poll.
He noted that the officers were charged to be good ambassadors of the state command.
