The Rivers State Tourism Development Agency (RSTDA), says the media has a vital role to play in the promotion of Tourism in the state.
Director-General of the Agency, Yibo Koko made this known during the unveiling of winners of the agency’s 2020 Graffiti Graphics Arts Competition, in Port Harcourt.
He said with the help of the media, tourism in the state can grow to unbelievable heights.
Meanwhile the state government, has assured that it is working tirelessly to accelerate economic growth through tourism.
Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Tonye Briggs stated this at the event.
She noted that the on going renovation of the Port Harcourt Zoo, will help boost tourism in the state.
