A woman has reportedly given birth after mentioning Governor, Nyesom Wike’s name hours after battling to do so.
A traditional ruler made this known during the flag-off of the Obodhi-Ozochi road in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State on Wednesday by Gov. Wike.
According to him, the woman was in severe pains and could not deliver, adding that she was been prepared for an operation by doctors the following day being Wednesday.
He explained that after she overhead two nurses discussing about the governor’s visit to the LGA she screamed, “God of Wike Help Me” and immediately she delivered.
He said the doctors and nurses were surprised and had to explain what happened to them.
The monarch also said the woman wanted to name the child after the governor but, he asked her to wait until he informed him.
