A widow identified as Uche Ajuru whose house was reportedly burnt down in Ndele community, Emohua LGA of Rivers State, few months ago for allegedly reporting illegal oil refining activities to the government has called on the state and local governments to come to her aid.
The woman in a statement Today accused a member of the disbanded OSPAC, Onwuchika Egbo of setting her house ablaze after he accused her of acting as an informant to the government.
She denied the allegations adding that she has has never informed the government about illegal oil activites in the area.
The woman explained that she has been homeless since then and called for financial assistance from the government.
