The International Federation of Women Lawyers, FIDA, in Rivers State has appealed to members of the public not to be afraid to come to them when in trouble or need their assistance.
Chairperson of FIDA, Adata Bio-Briggs in a statement Today, said the organization will continue to do its best to protect women and children.
According to her, FIDA has been through thick and thin championing the rights of women and children for 35 years.
Briggs commended members of the public for their support over the years.
“WHEN THE CHIPS ARE DOWN AND YOU RUN INTO TROUBLE OR HAVE AN EMERGENCY, DONT BE AFRAID TO COME TO Fida Nigeria Rivers State Branch,” she said.
“We have been championing the rights of women and children for 35years, we’ve been through the thick and thin, we have seen it all, we have grown through the years and will do the best we can. Thanks everyone for your support,” she added.
