The Independent National Electoral Commission in Rivers State has debunked reports making the rounds that its Adhoc staff are still being owed weeks after the general elections.

Some Adhoc staff have taken to social media platforms alleging that they have not been paid for the elections.

However, the state Resident Electoral Commission, Johnson Sinikem in a statement said they are not owing any Adhoc staff.

According to him, they have started paying, adding that some of the workers submitted Moniepoint, Opay and other online accounts which are not acceptable.

Some persons haven’t been paid I Enugu state, this isn’t funny that after people worked and they’re not compensated.
Some persons have not been paid for even the presidential election, I don’t know if those in charge decided to hoard the money for selfish reasons.
Please INEC should look into this
