About 1,068 students in Level 300 & 400 whose CGPA is below 1.50  have been reportedly withdrawn from the Ignatius Ajuru University.

According to a memo sighted by Elanhub, Dr. Ineme-Awaji Okitumu John, PAR, Senate(Exams & Records) directed all Faculty Officers to ensure that the letters get to the students as early as possible to prevent them from registering for the 2023/2024 academic session.

However, the memo dated January 5th 2024 has not been confirmed to have emanated from the school.
