The Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board, has blamed Mr Vincent Obisike, for the closure of Community Primary School, Nbaa in Etche Local Government Area of the state, for about four years.
UBE, in a letter signed by Director of Administration, Karibi George said Mr Obisike, Head Teacher of the school failed to inform the Board that he was having challenges running the school.
He stated that Mr Vincent has been issued a query to explain in writing why disciplinary actions should not be taken against him.
Mr Karibi also said the head teacher’s action is a breach of the Public service rules 2008.
There were reports that the primary school has been closed for four years due to absence of teachers.
Some members of Nbaa community who confirmed the development, pleaded with the Rivers State Government to ensure reopening of the school.
