The Rivers State Police Command, says the state will no like longer be a safe haven for criminals anymore.
The State Commissioner of Police, Friday Eboka made this known during the launch of a special security outfit C.4.I in the State, on Thursday.
CP Eboka after receiving opertional vehicles from the state government, commended Governor Wike for the gesture. He said the vans and other equipments will be distributed to the 23 local government areas of the state.
He said officers of the new security outfit, will undergo a one month training at Nonwa to prepare them for the task ahead.
CP Eboka warned criminal elements in the state to desist from crime, as the command is committed to ensuring the protection of lives and prperties of Rivers people.
