Rivers State has recorded a new case of the COVID-19. This brings the total of confirmed cases in the state to 7, with 2 discharged and no deaths recorded.
This was made known by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), yesterday on its Twitter page. The NCDC updates the nation on the COVID-19 daily.
The NCDC announced 195 new cases of the coronavirus. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1532, with 255 discharged and 44.
Meanwhile the Minister of Health has announced that it plans to test 2 million Nigerians within the next three months.
He urged citizens to continue practicing good respiratory hygiene in line with the directives of the government.
