Rivers State has recorded a new case of COVID=19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 3, with 2 discharged and no deaths.
The National Center for Disease Control in Nigeria (NCDC) made the announcement yesterday, during its daily COVID-19 updates on its official website. Nigeria now has a total of 782 confirmed cases, 197 discharged with 25 deaths.
The new case in the state is coming after the second index case was discharged few days ago. The state government, which had earlier declared the state COVID–19 free, is expected to brief the public this morning on the new development.
